The Test International automatic range of 1500kN, 2000kN and 3000kN capacity compression testing machines have been designed to meet the need for reliable and consistent testing of concrete samples. All machines feature the complete automatic test cycle with a closed loop digital readout. Once the specimen parameters have been introduced, it is sufficient to press the START button to complete the test.
Test International compression machines consist of three main parts: Frame, power pack and data acquisition & control system. Each part has been designed to manufacture machines with a high degree of mechanical stability and complies to EN 12390-4; BS 1881 and ASTM C39 (with suitable platen set) standards.

Frame
The frame is welded steel fabrication carrying the ball-seated 300 mm diameter upper platen which complies to EN 12390-4. Located on the loading ram which is protected from debris by a cover, the lower platen is marked for the centering of cube and cylinder specimens. The dimensions of the frame allow the testing of concrete cylinders up to 320 mm long x 160 mm diameter; 100, 150 mm and 200 mm cubes. All machines are supplied complete with 30 mm, 40mm, 50mm and 90 mm distance pieces. To test samples shorter than 150 mm extra distance pieces should be ordered. All machines are supplied with flexi-glass front and rear removable safety doors. All frames have a single acting up stroking ram with over travel protection to stop the motor when the maximum platen travel is reached.

Power Pack
The dual stage power pack which is designed to supply the required oil to the frames. Very silent power pack can load a specimen between 1 kN/sec to 20 kN/sec. A high delivery low pressure pump is used for rapid approach and a low delivery high pressure radial piston pump is used for test execution. On all power packs maximum pressure valve is used to avoid machine overloading.

LCD Graphics Data Acquisition and Controls System TE -100 Unit is designed to control the machine and processing of data from load cells or pressure transducers (fitted to the frame of the machine or additional frames. All the operations of Data Acquisition and Controls System TE-100 are controlled from the front panel which consists of an LCD display, a keypad and function keys. 128x240 pixel blue-white graphic LCD display. Four analogue channels for load cells , pressure transducers or displacements sensors. Permanent storage capacity is up to 1689 test results and it can be used for 2 frames TE-100 has easy to use menu options. It displays all menu option listings simultaneously, allows the operator to access the required option quickly. The following specimen types are selected; Cube compression, cylinder compression, beam centre point, beam double point, cube splitting tensile, cylinder splitting tensile, paving block splitting tensile and kerb flexure.
